Uploading Class Lists
Working with Class Lists in ReMarkable is as easy as 1-2-3!! This is a new function that our team wanted to add after thousands of teachers and on site visits led us to understand the importance teachers have around keeping track of students. By uploading Class Lists, users have the ability to store all student names and create Mark Sheets within ReMarkable.
The First Step to Getting Started…..
The best way to start working with Class Lists is to download the demo file from the header here on the ReMarkable.Seedlessapps.com website. After clicking the link in the header and downloading the CSV template, you can now open the file and manually enter all your students names that you would like to include in this list. It’s important to note that only one students names should be present on each line, as per the template layout. Also, make sure that you keep the file structure of the template as a Comma Seperated Value (CSV) document when using Excel or Numbers.
Once you have the CSV file ready and completed, you can now upload the file to your Dropbox, Google Drive or Box account and from here you will be able to pull this into ReMarkable. When in the Class Lists section, you will note that there is a cloud download icon in the top right which will allow you to retrieve your freshly created CSV student name file.
Now that you have your Class List uploaded into ReMarkable, you can now tap on the ‘+’ icon which can also be found in the top right of the screen. When you tap this ‘+’ icon, ReMarkable will present you with a pop up requesting to name a new Mark Sheet and to then associate that new sheet with previously added Class List. You can now pick the Class List that you uploaded, and just like that you have created a Mark Sheet and associated all your student names to it!!
Just in case you can find the CSV template download link, you can access it here.
